A new era of combat
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, developed by Sledgehammer Games (co-developers of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3), harnesses the first three-year, all next-gen development cycle in franchise history.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare envisions the powerful battlegrounds of the future, where both technology and tactic have evolved to usher in a new era of combat for the franchise. Delivering a stunning performance, Academy Award-winning actor Kevin Spacey stars as Jonathan Irons – one of the most powerful men in the world – shaping this chilling vision of the future of war.

Power changes everything.

An advanced world
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare takes place in a plausible future in which technological progress and today’s military practices have converged with powerful consequences.

In this carefully researched and crafted vision of the future, private military corporations (PMCs) have become the dominant armed forces for countless nations outsourcing their military needs, redrawing borders and rewriting the rules of war.

And Jonathan Irons, the founder and president of the world’s largest PMC – Atlas Corporation – is at the centre of it all.
An advanced soldier
Powerful exoskeletons evolve every aspect of a soldier’s battle readiness, enabling combatants to deploy with an advanced lethality and eliminating the need for specialisation.

The introduction of this gameplay mechanic delivers enhanced player movement and verticality through boost jumps and grappling, covert cloaking abilities, and biomechanics that provide unparalleled strength, awareness, endurance, and speed.

With the advent of the exoskeleton and newly advanced armour and weaponry, every soldier commands tactical freedom in any terrain unlike ever before, fundamentally changing the way gamers play Call of Duty across all modes.
An advanced arsenal
Harnessing the power of next-gen platforms, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare brings players into the battlegrounds of the future by boasting a new hi-tech, advanced arsenal and ability set, arming players with all-new equipment, technology, perks, and vehicles like hoverbikes and highly specialised drones.

Players can also choose between standard ammunition and an all-new class of directed-energy weaponry that enables totally new gameplay dynamics; and with exoskeletons delivering a massive force multiplier and unprecedented tactical freedom, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare evolves every firefight.

Game modes and features:
Multiplayer
The exoskeleton system: Every soldier is equipped with an exoskeleton including a feature set that enables more tactical freedom than ever before. Boost Jump introduces verticality to the Call of Duty experience, allowing players reach high points quickly and navigate maps in new ways. Other new mechanics include Boost Dodge, Boost Dash, and reimagined melee.

Customisation and rewards: Inspired by the fan favorite ‘Pick Ten’ system, Create-a-Class gives players more options than ever before to customise loadouts for all styles of play. In addition to selecting all weapons, perks, and attachments to create a loadout, scorestreaks have been added to the mix for an extra layer of personalisation – and three extra slots.

Throughout multiplayer gameplay, players will earn Supply Drops, part of an all-new player reward system. Supply Drops contain items including weapon loot, character gear, and reinforcements.

All soldiers will now be fully viewable in multiplayer lobbies. Not only does the Virtual Lobby allow players to show off all of their custom weaponry and equipment, but it also allows them to select and evaluate enemies’ loadouts while preparing for the upcoming match.
Single-player
Power has a new name: Founded in 2035, the Atlas Corporation has experienced a meteoric rise to power under the control of its CEO, Jonathan Irons.

With unmatched resources and no citizens to fear, Atlas changed the face of war and the definition of power, becoming a lethal and effective asset to any country or cause that could afford them.

Welcome to 2054: The socioeconomic and military developments of the past 40 years have transformed the world into an unstable landscape teetering on the edge of global disaster.

As independent nations struggle to maintain control over their domestic issues, a new power rises. The Atlas Corporation, the world’s largest private military contractor, has surpassed all other countries to become the most powerful actor on the world stage. Beholden to no one, they serve only themselves and use seemingly unending resources to make power a private enterprise – a very profitable one.
Exo Survival co-op
Exo Survival is Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s chaotic, fast-paced cooperative mode that pits you and up to three friends against increasingly challenging waves of enemies, ranging from soldiers and ASTs to dogs, drones, and more.

Players will start by choosing from three Exo tiers – Light, Heavy, and Specialist – each of which has pros and cons, catered to various play styles. As players progress from one level to the next, enemies will become increasingly challenging, and some will even have new abilities.

After completing each wave, the player will earn upgrade points allowing them to customise their character with new weapons, abilities, and attachments. Occasionally, a round will challenge the player to undertake an additional assignment, such as collect dog tags or diffuse EMP bombs, to earn bonus upgrade points.

Complete the task and earn the points, but fail to complete the task before the round is over and the player will face even steeper challenges in the next round. Jump into the fray with your friends, and see how long you can survive.
